Jude doesn't talk. He can't, even when he wants to. They don't want to hear what he has to say, and they only use their words to hurt him. So why even try anymore? Starting at a new school seems like the perfect opportunity to blend into the background, but it isn't far enough away to start over. Some people just won't let him forget about his past. As someone who has struggled with anxiety, I tried to do something a little different with my writing style this time by including a lot of thoughts and feelings rather than a ton of description and detail. I'd like to add that it mentions things like sex and violence but I don't plan on going into any graphic detail in this story. There is also occasional cursing.
