Lost in Hell is a World War 1 novel about a British soldier going through the war. The novel explores the psyche of soldiers in the war and the moral issues they have to go through. It primarily focuses on the mental aspect of the war but also explores the brutal combat soldiers had to live with. The writer is originally Dutch and the original draft of the book was written in Dutch but he's writing it again in English.
