Sirius Black is happy. He has a secure job, a roof above his head, a loving relationship and the best friends one could ever imagine. Sure, the increasing threat of Voldemort and his death eaters is something that he takes very serious but he couldn't even think of something that could happen to him now, that he wouldn't be able to get through. After all, he had his friends at his side, a better family than his bloodrelatives could ever be.
But then on October 31, 1981 everything changed.
