y/n and spencer were bestfriends in college-inseparable, in fact. they each have had the "genius" rep their entire lives, always picked on and left out-which is what drew them to each other. that was, until spencer graduated and they were torn apart. y/n never really realized her feelings until years later. the less they conversed via call and text, the deeper she fell. although it was hard, spencer ultimately decided he needed to move on with his life, he couldn't delay his future for a girl he'd probably never see again.

but when the unexpected happens and fate brings the friends back into each others lives, spencer immediately recognizes y/n, but she looks at him as a stranger.

when spencer finds out what y/n has gone through these past few years, he takes the opportunity to reset the clocks and make sure that she knows that life-and love, can be so beautiful.
