Cassie had moved out of Beacon Hills after the traumatizing death of her beloved mother and sister nearly a week after the accident. It's been two long lonely years drowning in her own sorrow, but now, she's coming back to face her past as well as a secretly broken boy she left behind.

"You just don't get it do you?"

"Get what?!"

"It was you! All I needed was you, and you left, you left me." He opens his mouth, closes it, opens it again. "Do you even realize how many sleepless nights I had, because you weren't in my arms? Or how hard it was to open my eyes every morning knowing that I wouldn't see you? Or how many times Scott found me with slit wrists behind my bathroom door?"

"IM SORRY!" I scream.

"But you know what?" He asks, taking a step towards me. "I would suffer all over again if it meant having you in my arms right here, right now."

I bite back a sob as I look up into his hazel eyes.

"Why?"

"...Because I love you."
