Finding Love on Death Row

I'm just a normal girl. Well, until my family had a little issue with the mafia. One day, I came home to find my entire family being held by large men in dark suits. Just as I walked in, the leader gave the command and all of their throats were slit. Right before my eyes, I watched as their eyes glazed over and their bodies became still. I barely heard my mother whisper my name before she died. "Katherine" I could still remember. That's not exactly something easliy forgotten though. Now I'm a slave to the head of the mafia's son, Brian. I didn't think life was worth living until Luke was brought in one day. That day was the start of my new life. But how long will this life last? The mafia seem to think that Luke knows something, and are getting very impatient with him. But only I could find love on death row.
