Subaru had just lost her family in a fire when an elderly man in a suit told her that he would be taking her back with him to England. She went along willingly, knowing that she had no other family to take her in. Throughout the years at Wammy's House, Subaru befriends two boys who look like reflections of eachother. L Lawliet, and Beyond Birthday; commonly known as L and B (BB). What does fate have in store for this odd trio?

The scene you're about to read takes place on January 28th, 2004 (manga wise), seven days after Beyond Birthday died in prison. Subaru had left the orphanage after getting into an argument with L about BB's imprisonment, and hadn't seen L or Watari in 18 months.
