Follow a five kids trapped in populist Ephemeral while they discover the past and try to save the world. They leave an unperfect world through old newspapers and love letters to piece together what they could have had if their parents were with them and if the Disaster had never struck.

This is my 2014 NaNoWriMo story. It is in the process of being edited and so while it does contain 28 parts total and they were all previously posted, they are not now. As they are edited for editing round one 1 I will post them so keep looking for sporadic updates.

A dystopian young adult novel involving romance, secret experiments on human subjects, and a group of teenagers' will to survive. She doesn't know where it came from or how it got there, but when the man turns his gun on her she shoots him. It would be easy for Evita to forget about where the gun came from and let her life return to normal, but its mysterious appearance won't stop nagging at her. When Evita starts asking questions Evelyn Sheer, the head of the city's Department of Energy, takes her captive and places her in a secret, underground research facility. Evelyn Sheer and the researchers are trying to create a genetic modification that enables humans to photosynthesize. Once in the facility, Evita is tagged as a test subject and loses all say over what happens to her body. She has to escape. By the time she comes up with a plan there is only one problem. Evita isn't ready to leave.Complete
Always on Your Side (NaNoWriMo 2019)
Fresh into her last semester of high school, Len is looking forward to three things: spending time with her recent close-friend-turned-girlfriend, completing a summer road trip with her brother Brendon, and finally, getting the hell out of her hometown, to an out-of-state college where she'll be able to reinvent herself as whoever she would be if her Catholic mom wasn't always breathing down her neck. But then Brendon commits suicide, leaving behind a cell phone with a series of messages meant for Len alone.
