"Don't you dare walk away from me. Just give me two fucking minutes, you owe me that," he called after me, throwing his bags on the ground.
I turned around. "I owe you? Wrong, Alex. I haven't owed you a goddamn thing since you cheated on me," I snapped.
"You just left. You left and I had no idea where you'd gone, if you were safe," he said. He looked so hurt that I almost began to forgive him.

After Alex cheated on Kaelyn, she left him while on tour and returned to her childhood home, the house she'd grown up in, right next door to Alex, who had once been her best friend.
