So, why do all stories about gay boys involve an innocent boy falling in love with a jock or the bully that torments him? The boy is always innocent and vulnerable, while the jock is always well toned and protective. Then one of them ends up in hospital or moves. What if I don’t want that? I just want a normal relationship that won’t involve hospitals or that won’t get me hurt. I just want to find a boy that loves me for me. Is that so hard to ask? My name is Tom and I’m gay. I don’t have many friends, but the ones that I do understand why. I’m a weird kid that nobody can really understand. All I want is a normal relationship, is that so much to ask?
All Tom wants is a normal relationship, nothing like the ones that he read about in his favorite stories. So, when Aaron enters his life, will he get his perfect relationship? Or will he have to face facts, that there is no such thing as perfect?
