Madeline is found surrounded in her own blood and thorned black and crimson roses from a rare condition known as Hanahaki, Cameron's one sided love brings awareness to  the small friend group and Madeline shortly starts coughing petunia petals up over time, it becomes apparent Madeline is now dying from the same condition as her beloved and the flowers eventually crawl there way up, killing her slowly. It's upto her to have them surgically removed or be found the same way her dear Cameron was. Madeline hides her condition until someone steps in...
