"I think there is nothing purer than love in this world Harry." I said looking at the afterglow from Brooklyn bridge as the skyscrapers of New York city lit up.

"Yeah, right." He replied with bitterness evident in his tone.

"Woah! Don't you agree Mr. Harry Edward Styles?" I asked rolling out his fancy name from my mouth. He turned towards me.

"If it's so 'pure' then why do people betray the ones they are supposed to love?" Harry asked angrily.

I opened my mouth and closed it because I had nothing to say. He chuckles half-heartedly and continues;

"Don't have an answer huh?" He stepped closer as his eyes poured into mine.

"Love is nothing but a lie. Sorry to burst your bubble Mr. Louis Tomlinson." He replied without blinking.

I was taken aback by his sudden statement. I saw a vulnerable emotion in his eyes that he hid behind his anger and perfect smile. I saw hurt in his green eyes for the first time but the real question is what made him so broken that he doesn't believe in the purest thing in the world?
