The story of the younger Black brother is very much unknown. He disappeared at the young age of eighteen and was assumed to be dead from then on. No one, except the Golden Trio, even knew of the sacrifices he made and all he went through in hope of bringing the Dark Lord to an end. But what if Regulus didn't die on that horrible excursion? What if he instead got out alive and went along the path of trying to destroy the Horcrux? And what if he went to Dumbledore for help, the Headmaster doing so and giving Regulus a teaching job to ensure that Regulus is kept close to assist in finding the rest of the Horcruxes? All these 'what ifs' become true in "You Will Be Mortal Once More."
