He went to grab your wrist again, but this time, you didn't pull away. You kept your eyes on his as you let his fingers gently caress your damaged arms, a tear falling on the broken skin of your wrist. "What did I do to you?"
You stayed silent. You felt like telling him would break the both of you even more.
He grabbed your other wrist and slowly slid his hands up to the red grip marks just below your shoulders. His eyes traveled back up to meet yours. You still hadn't stopped looking at him, both fear and comfort filling up inside of you. You watched as the guilt in him grew stronger. He saw the fear in your eyes.
