Twenty-five years after the cure was created, society has yet to fully recover from the zombie apocalypse. The Cure is smuggled, bootlegged, hoarded, or hidden away - it has eclipsed the barter system. Though most of the United Mexican States have been reclaimed, Walkers rule what was once Chihuahua and most of Coahuila.

Among the Survivors walk Curados - ex-Walkers lucky enough to have received the Cure, whose ruined limbs were replaced by machinery - who now make up one out of every five people. Most of the Curados have identifiable Side Effects. Some have enhanced hearing. Some can smell fear. Some have inexplicable undead strength. Some can control Walkers. Some still hunger for human flesh.

Walking the grey lines between Survivor and Walker and Curado is Teddy de Santos, a Carrier of the virus. Though undoubtedly undead - with half a face to prove it - he has a rare condition: all the powers and strength of a Walker, and all the morals and intelligence of a human.

Between the gangs, the military, and the desperate, Teddy can't survive much longer alone. Not while the cure for the Walker Virus is the heart of a Carrier.

Some fates are worse than death--survival is one of them. In the two hundred years since humanity left the Earth's surface to live in the sky, life on the ground faded to a myth, a tragic memory from which they severed themselves to survive. They floated above continents turned to sand and lands swallowed by the seas, watched storm after storm rage against their cities and their monuments until they broke apart the last vestiges of civilization in penance for generations of human greed. As a lightning harvester charged with flying her ship into these storms for energy, Raina has seen more of the planet than most. She has spent her entire life soaring above its craters and scars, studying the gaping wounds of human devastation, as she honed her skills and became the youngest captain in storm-chaser history. Her ship has flown for generations. Her skills are unparalleled. But none of that matters the day they go down. ~ Praise for Earth, After: "I'm so not ready for this ending. I will reread this for sure. It's honestly my favourite work on wattpad ever, and among my best reads in general, it's insane. I love your creativity!" "Sometimes tearing my eyes away from the page is torture. Gosh...!!!!" "This is literally a movie - the images are so clear!" "oh my god... it has been such a long adventure [...] Youve dried up your surviving characters until the very last drop before giving the end, and my, Im speechless. Out of this world." ~ Highest rank: #17 in Adventure 25/08/19 #21 in Science Fiction 16/11/19 #24 in Action 01/01/20 Trident Awards Winner Trident Awards Judges' Favourite Award The Aurora Awards 1st Place in Science Fiction Wattpad Chronicle monthly feature April 2020

In which Ted Nivison tries to survive the apocalypse, with superpowers. --- "In this situation, solitude was safer, of course. Less of a chance of suddenly getting attacked by an elemental monster. Other people were dangerous, Ted knew, so he did his best to stay away from them. But here's the catch: it was incredibly fucking lonely." --- Disclaimer: These are heavily fictionalized versions of the creators involved, written for the sake of fiction, to practice my writing, and to have fun. I have nothing but respect for these people and I want to make sure I'm respecting their boundaries; I won't include shipping or graphic violence. If you think I'm still crossing any boundaries with this story, please let me know; and as always if I make anyone involved uncomfortable and you'd like me to take this down, I'll gladly do so. Thank you! --- EDIT November 13th 2020: See the beginning of "we're gonna pretend (intermission)" for a full explanation of the state of this work. But, in summary, I took a six-month hiatus after chapter 7 was published, and basically just stopped writing. Chapters 8 and 9, an interlude and the epilogue, are the only two chapters I had that were at any stage of completion whatsoever, and were originally going to be the 13th and 19th chapter respectively. The first six chapters are still a completed "arc", and 7, 8 and 9 can pretty much stand on their own. The rest of the story remains unwritten and unpublished, but I at least wanted to get the concepts I did have out there for you to read. I'm sorry I can't give you a complete story, but, well, I hope you can enjoy this regardless.
