The leader of a band of thieves seeks out the head of the King of Pinacoa after the massacre that took place at his home, the Kingdom of Makador. Ever since he escaped from that incident, a burning desire to kill the royal family of Pinacoa was placed in his heart, his desire for vengeance growing over the passing years. To distract those thoughts however, he made some friends and decided to make a gang that would help him pass time until he knew he was prepared to kill the king.
Unexpectedly, he meets the princess of Pinacoa, however her true identity is hidden until the time is right for her to reveal herself.
Lucy, the princess of Pinacoa, always seeked for adventure beyond the walls of the kingdom and finally got it one day as she fled from the castle, thing's don't always go as planned. As she was saved from ruffians from an unknown man, she was introduced to the gang of Fairytail, making her fear revealing her identity.
What will happen if she reveals her identity to the gang? What kind of adventures will await Lucy as she stays with them? Just what exactly is Fairy Tail.

Lucy held the picture in her hands, listening to the deafening roar of her opponent. Juvia and Gray lay on the ground behind her, Gray's body thrown over the other girls as if to protect her though both were unconscious. Wendy held an unconscious Charle in her arms, one eye clenched tightly shut as Happy placed one paw on her calf, tears in his eyes. Erza punched the ground angrily as the loud roar of a dragon vibrated through their ears, causing Lucy's shoulder's to prick. "Please..." She murmured, tears falling from her eyes as the back of the dragon slayer arched, a guttural yell escaping his throat. She jerked her head up, blonde hair fluttering around her shoulder as her chin quivered. "Please! Give me back Natsu! My Natsu! I want the Natsu I know!
