I started working for him as his assistant, or so I thought. I would have never thought that in a million years that there was going to be something more than just me working for him. You see, his wife died a couple years ago, along with his unborn baby girl. Of course, he never found out about his wife being pregnant. Time forward to about five years later, his previous assistant got pregnant and gave birth to a cute little baby boy, but at giving birth she got terribly sick. HR hired someone to work temporarily but times up and an assistant is needed ASAP. Now here we are, and this is where my story begins, when he started looking for a new assistant.

They warn me about him never finding love again. His one true love died, along with his ability to love again. He still wears his wedding band, as a promise to his dead wife that he would still love her no matter where she is.

However, I still can love someone. Someone who looks at me with curiosity. And whenever we're close, my heart beats louder than normal. I know I shouldn't. I know that my heart will end up shattered. I know that he would never love me the way I want him to love me. For all I care, I would only be his assistant.
