Sometimes things that remind us of our most painful memories make us feel more alive. Whats messed up is when that pain becomes known too well; happens too often that it becomes our identity- thats why we can't let go.
Because trying to move on means changing a part of us that we know too well. A part of us gone which would have us lost.
