Okumura Ren is the older adopted sister of Okumura Koushuu. In the same year of school the two first years along with their best friend Seto Takuma. Choose to attend Seido High school in west Tokyo. Which has just come off an appearance at National spring invitational.
Dispite being naturally right handed Ren developed a southpaw pitching form after she dislocated her right shoulder as an 8 year old.
Being a girl on a team like Seido Is bound to have its challenges. But picking a school in West Tokyo is proving even more difficult. As she is now in direct contention with her older half brother Narumiya Mei. The third year ace of Inashiro Industrial
But how does a girl pitcher standout as a reliable. Among the likes Furuya Satoru the teams ace and can pitch with 155 Km an hour fastball and Sawamura Eijun the pitcher who is strong in nail biting situations and can naturally pitch breaking balls. When her own strongest strength her switch pitching is failing her.
Meanwhile The death of her and Mei's mother is fighting to come back and haunt her. Well a player from another team is trying to wreck Ren's reputation. Is Ren even mentally strong enough, To hold one of the 20 numbers on the roster for summer in a club of 95 members?
