No one truly prepares you for the shit that will happen to you. You get birthed and set out into the world. I've done some pretty stupid things, I've lost people I loved, and I instigate ghosts because I can. Maybe this will help you so you don't repeat the mistakes I've made. Or maybe this will just get you a good laugh because I'm a dumbass. Either way, sit down and buckle in because I don't think I'll ever be able to call this done.

Burdened (Short Story)
I was 16 years old when I found out that it was possible. I was living in an apartment with my boyfriend at that time. He and I took our high school classes online together. I met him when we were 14, just being dumb and clueless. I didn't know that I'll be his girlfriend at the age of 15 or that I was going to live on my own when I'm 16. I was just in my curious 14 year old body trying to get over my new monthly bleeding schedule. He and I wanted to become actors as a career, so we took college classes as well. At age 16, I worked 2 jobs at the mall and he was fixing cars at his father's garage shop. We were happy and in love. During our 16th year of age, we decided to do the big IT. It was amazing since we both took each others' virginity and luckily knew how to use condoms. It was impossible to stop. We did it non-stop, but that ended quickly when I stepped out of the bathroom with tears in my eyes. I was pregnant with Matthew Connor's baby. And I wasn't ready. Second No More, a novel
I've dreamed of the perfect marriage ever since I was a little girl: a marriage complete with a hardworking husband while I tended to the home and our children, preferably four little rugrats to call my own. I dreamed of a life filled with laughter, joy, and success, a life we built together. I dreamed of growing old next to my husband, creating a great love story to tell our grandchildren someday. It all seemed so possible. I was raised to be the perfect wife, after all. From the outside, it seemed I had exactly what I dreamed of with the rich, determined husband; the brilliant, gaudy diamond ring; and the beautiful home filled with the hope of future children. Yes, it was all a dream come true. I should have felt grateful, really. The problem is, I also wanted a marriage based on love, passion, and affection, but those are the only things my husband cannot give me . . . . . . because they're reserved for her. Altered
Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. There's always a change, an altering of reality. When you meet those people, the reality that you've known your whole life is suddenly gone and a new one has taken its place. When those moments happen, there's no going back. You can try to return to the way things were but nothing, and I mean nothing, can take you back to exactly how it was. That's what happened to us. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of. But in some ways, I'm glad you're not a part of it. I just wish it wasn't like this. *** TRIGGER WARNING*** SA, abuse, suicide, substance abuse, and mental illness.
