The world didn't end in a flash, or a bang, or even scream. It ended with a whoosh, and the sound of gnashing teeth. It happened so fast that even the news barely reported anything on it. A few disappearances here and there, a neighbor gone mad and attacking people walking by. It spread to fast, and by the time anyone really knew about it, it was all around them. Attacking them, devouring them. The world was gone within days. But this isn't about how the world ended. This is about those who came after. The two of them to be exact.

Arthur "Thor" Abernathy, he's the last person anyone would expect to survive the apocalypse. He's laid back, calm, careless, his car has no doors, which is a good way to get eaten by zombies. But he survives, no one is really sure how, but he does. It's when he accidentally losses control of his jeep and rolls down into a valley that he meets trouble.

Trouble's name is Noah Davis, the perfect star for a zombie apocalypse movie. He's been preparing for this his whole life, but he doesn't know what to do when his dog leads him to Thor's crashed car.
