A short story about a girl trying to move into her small apartment she just bought in New York. She decided to move there to clear her head. She is used to living outside the city, where the only thing she has is her thoughts. She hopes to have the city life keep her on her feet, and not think so much. But, thats not the only reason she left to live in the city. She chose to live there to escape something that has been chasing her her whole life. Her lies.

my name is Alexis... Alexis Ryan. people just call me Alex. I decided to walk over to my best friend's house, and once I got closer her driveway, I could see the door was left ajar.
