-Book one- When the war between Azur Lane and the Red Axis broke out, a person led their fleet into the fray. The fleet, lesser known by many, has achieved great feats through its time out at sea and continues to impress as the battles go by. The person, unlike his subordinates, is only human. Yet knowing how weak his body is in comparison, he continues to push both his limits and luck to the brink as he leads his ships with efficiency like no other. Assigned to command the Maple Monarchy's fleet in Azur Lane, William Thompson would prove his worth through tactics and victory. His calm and devoted mentality would lead his fleet through hurdles without faltering. The strong and compassionate image he would display quickly gained the respect of all who followed him. Yet one aspect he did not expect was to take on that of a parental role. Though not consistent, now and again he would find a ship in need, one who was simply confused, or others who had lost their way. These ships, though as tough as you may think, still had weaknesses. With trouble understanding their place in life, and the emotions they faced, William would help guide them through. The ships were taught how to manage their lives, and to understand their limits. He proved to them they were not simply machines, but closer to humans than they ever thought. With their trust and grit, he would lead them all through the hardships they'd face.
