This is a story about a journey through a girl's worst fears and biggest dreams. Alistriona finds a portal hidden at the bottom of her pond and is taken away to a fantasy world called Imedemaa. There she meets her guide, Kapten, who leads her through an adventure. But while she's not in Imedemaa, Alistriona is fighting her own personal monsters at home and at school in a struggle to find strength and find herself. During her epic fight she meets new monsters, new friends, new enemies, and maybe even love?
