After being swept from her regiment and brought before the Supreme Leader, Stormtrooper AM-1596 finds herself placed alongside Commander Kylo Ren as his apprentice to be trained in the ways of the Force. Despite a rocky start with her new equal General Hux who doubts her power and Ren's capability to mentor her, they soon begin to understand each other, becoming closer - in more ways than one - all the while facing the threat of Snoke's judgement that looms over them.
