So with two weeks until UNLOCKED, I figured I was going to die from waiting, so here's a great filler fanfic. Writing it helped the wait, and was a lot of fun, too. I will also be writing a fanfic of book 9 once I am done reading UNLOCKED. This takes place a few months after the end of LEGACY. It does not cover what was in the cache. and has no relation to information released about unlocked. And yes, I did choose a legacy rejected title as the title of this fanfic. It just felt too fitting, with the pun AND the way it matched the events relative to the series. But don't worry, this  is completely new and original. Just don't be surprised if a few fan theories snuck in there...

You become known as "Shade", a mysterious cloaked criminal known for your stealth and strength. You took pride in your reputation, and the best part was, nobody knew anything about you. From your face down to you're gender, it was all concealed. It was all cloaked. But all this changed once they found you. They took you in, capturing you to mold you into a soldier fighting for the survey corps. You despised the survey corps at first. After all, they stole you from your home. Took you away from the people you loved. They ruined your life, right? But... did they? You're stubbornness and skill capture the attention of a certain short black haired male.
