Many like to think of her as a stuck up and too full of herself when it's the complete opposite. That's why people say to never judge a book by its cover. Imoni was raised in a poor household with her family barely making it out of the struggle. She was so used to living a lie that now that her family is one of the most respected in town she has a hard time remembering that their struggles are in the past. When being used to having no one to confide in, Imoni automatically puts up a guard. It's not that she means too but what are you suppose to do when that's all you're used to. Born with nothing giving to him he never trusted anyone. Many feared him all because of his reputation, but that still didn't stop from people trying him. Dominic aka Dom is the scariest man that was known in the streets, but how did he get like that? Waking up everyday having to protect the ones you love and watching them continuously get hurt will turn you into a cold blooded individual. So what happens when Imoni Simone the self inflicted girl and Dominic the brutal man meet?
