I don't hate George Lucas or the Star Wars prequels. I never have. Even when I first realized that these movies weren't as good as the originals back in high school. But it sure didn't stop others like myself to make some changes to make more sense from a cinematic standpoint. If this version does sound like the one we got, it's because I used it as a base. I also wrote this about a couple of years ago, but I decided to finally share it with the public.

Based on Star Wars ep. VII: The Force Awakens. "You... you're afraid." I say looking back at him defyingly. "That you'll never be as strong as Darth Vader." I say his hand moving away from me instantly and he takes a step back finally my body gets released from his hold. I notice the expression from his face breaking completely, he is confused even rattled. I breathe heavily and keep staring back at him proud of myself as he picks up his mask and exits the room leaving me tied up to the interrogation chair. How was I able to do all of that? ------ This book is part 1 of my rewrite series. I figured that if If I wanted to rewrite TLJ and TROS the only correct way would be by also doing TFA so here is that. Also, this book is going to be very similar to the movie to a point where it is almost identical but since it's written with different points of views we get to know more about the characters and where they come from. It is very canon compliant especially when talking about the different character backstories. That being said, this doesn't mean that the next two books are going to be the exact same as the movies I want to take the other books in a completely different way. Anakin Skywalker will not become Darth Vader. Not yet, anyway. Padmé saved him from a lifetime of regret by pulling him out of the fateful battle between Mace Windu and Chancellor Palpatine. But at some point, he still has to decide if his heart lies with the Jedi or the Sith. Palpatine, undeterred by the loss of his potential apprentice, still devises a way to create the Empire and wipe out the vast majority of the Jedi. He sends various threats directly to Anakin and Padmé to convince them that they and their newborn children are in danger. Fearing for their safety, they split. For years, Anakin and Leia wander throughout the galaxy, dodging the Empire and searching for a greater purpose. Meanwhile, Padmé raises Luke while working with Bail Organa and Mon Mothma to lead the fight against the oppressive Galactic Empire. Anakin is constantly tempted by the Dark Side. Padmé struggles to help the Rebels succeed. Their children mean everything to both of them. The story also features other characters we all know and love, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Han Solo, and Boba Fett. Most of the story takes place 7 years after Revenge of the Sith.
