Eleanor Scamander lost her parents at the hands of Voldemort's terror and spent most of her life in hiding. At least, that's what she has been told. What if there were two children born to the Potters 14 years ago? While one remained in the care of his parents, the other was in protection of the Scamander family, in hopes to protect at least one of them.
Years in hiding later, Eleanor is finally allowed to go to Hogwarts and feels an odd connection toward Harry, still hidden in the dark about their blood relation. But her complicated background isn't the only thing that will surprise her and staying safe from the rise of Voldemort is not the only thing she has to worry about either.
When she meets Draco Malfoy she is brought into a game of cat and mouse, as the two navigate their feelings amongst the chaos that will ensue during their next 4 years at Hogwarts.
Will the love they have for each other be enough or was their love a losing game from the start? And how far will Eleanor go to keep the only family she has left safe from death?
