4000 years has passed since Avatar Korra saved benders everywhere. The world has seemed to reach its peace, as each Avatar was born and raised in their tribes. They mastered all 4 elements and were able to live peacefully. Avatar after Avatar none were needed to save the world. It was almost too good to be true. As time went on the legends of past Avatars began to resurface. A group of people assembled together under the assumption that the Avatar was the reason for past struggles. They believed that if they found an ancient relic known as the Athenisan crystal, they would be able to stop the Avatars sacred infinite rebirth forever in order to prevent future world ending scenarios.
"What if one day the Avatar of our time chooses to go against their teachings and kill us all. What if we become slaves to the one who is all powerful in this world. That. Will. Not. Happen."
