A year. That's how long it's been since they started running. Rannok thought things would be easier this way. But a year later and they're still running from the shadow of Sasha's father and from the memories that plague Rannok's dreams at night. A year later and they are still wandering. Rannok didn't know that when he stole money from the local innkeeper, that this time it would set the local mercenaries after him. When he searches for help, he finds the people of the mountains are just as intolerant as the ones back home, just in different ways. Background info: The daughter of a wealthy CEO went through a traumatic past and can't get over her father's disappearance. However, police gave up on the case after finding no clues connecting the incident; therefore, it was closed and unsolved as they just concluded he was dead. From that point on, she closed herself off from the world. One day, her mother couldn't stand seeing her daughter in that state anymore and decided to move to an entirely new area to start fresh. Months go by, and Y/n's mom starts going on dates, lands a nice job, and gets themselves a lovely house. For Y/n, on the other hand, she drowned herself in music and started slacking off in school. However, puts on an act in front of her mom to not worry her.
