A story following a broken single mom on the run from her past and trying to hold it together with a smile. Although beautiful, dating doesn't seem remotely apart of her future for her and her daughter. Her fear of keeping her already falling apart life as perfect as she can is slowly diminishing her confidence. Maybe finding someone as broken as her would start to finally make her feel real joy...love even. If only it were that simple.

On the contrary, broken might not be enough to describe his mind and heart. Mending it together again can't be possible...or so he believes. But who would want to love a bad guy like him, as if being an ex-gang member isn't enough to scare away any possibility of a secure relationship. So why try?

Follow Emery and Ace as they find themselves mysteriously wanting the other and both doing whatever it takes to make the other happy. It won't be easy and it certainly won't be safe.

Even though I'm a mess and I still don't think I'm good enough for him, I want to date him. I haven't managed to scare him off with my panic attacks, mood swings and no touching rules so I don't think that if I tell him about what happened that night he will stop showing interest. ****** Shy, broken Chase wonders if he'll ever be able to love and trust again, if he'll ever get over the trauma of what happened, if he'll ever be happy again. He was a content 24 year old, rooming with his fraternal twin brother Jesse. They literally could not be more different. Jesse is blonde, confident and straightforward; Chase is brunette, shy and innocent. But when tragedy strikes, Chase becomes a shell of the man he once was and Jesse is determined to protect his twin and help him heal. However, will it be at the cost of Jesse's own blossoming love life? Will Chase actually let Jesse help him? And will Chase finally be able to overcome his trauma and accept the love of the man of his dreams? If healing, family and romance are themes that interest you, then this book might be for you! "I wouldn't mind watching you. Maybe we could tan together this summer." He suggested. "Without having tan lines." I could feel the smirk playing on his lips. I lightly slapped his chest. "Don't ruin my mood with your cockiness." "I think I made it a lot better." "Well, keep going and you'll have to deal with your boner yourself." I teased. "Why does it always come back to my boner?" He asked with a smile playing on his lips. "Because it's just so huge." I said absentmindedly. "Is it now?" He raised a brow at me. I stripped myself away from him and pouted as I folded my arms across my chest. "That's not what I was supposed to say." "Hmm," He nodded. "What were you supposed to say then?" "That it's just as annoying as you." I laughed. SUMMARY: After the death of her father, Blake moves in with her estranged mother and twin sister. Coping with her father's death was one thing and being involved in dirty work is another. Add a bad boy to fall for on her plate and things can't be more messed up. She tries to start a new life but ghosts from her past just aren't ready to leave her. Question is, can she make it through and have a happy ending or not? Give it a few chapters, nobody gets the hang of writing their first book immediately. It gets better story wise and writing wise, I promise. HIGHEST RANKING #1
