"Can you keep a secret?" The man reached his hand out. "Take this, take a cab to this address ask for Cunningham. 3:30 sharp, don't be late!" He shoved the card in my hands, and I looked down at it. I read the address, and looked back up, "Stay away from..." he was gone.
Say, whats not enough for one, just enough for two but to much for three? A secret. If a stranger stopped you, and asked you, "can you keep a secret?" What would you say? "Yes, what is it?" Or perhaps you would say, "No! Don't tell me!" Or maybe you would kick them in the shins. Well that was your first mistake. I know what your thinking, "my first mistake?" Yes! YOUR first mistake was staying there long enough for them to continue to talk. The best kept secrets are the ones you never share...

After everything that happened, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off with Nova. I told myself I needed to check on her and make sure she was okay. I pushed open her door, and the sight of her almost stopped my heart. She was sitting on the floor, her back against the bed, eyes unfocused, her hand shaking as she brought another pill to her lips. My pulse quickened. "Nova?" My voice cracked, louder than I intended. She didn't respond at first, just continued, almost robotic, taking more. "You had no right to do that," I snap, trying my best to out walk him. His chuckle was loud behind me and his hand griped on my forearm, stopping me. "Because," he whispers out pressing our bodies together. "I'm your Secret Santa," he licks his lips as if he's hungry, then continues, "I can give you anything I want to give you." His free arm wraps around my waist, and he lifts me up during the action before pressing our lips together. The main character is Kimberly. She's an accident prone person who wants nothing but to enjoy her winter. Her friends want the best for her after a terrible break up they witnessed. Every year they all hold the traditional Secret Santa. Somebody from the group believes that they are what Kimberly needs. Evolution
There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him.
