High School is supposed to be all about living in the moment and making memories that last a lifetime. That's all that seventeen-year-old Heather has in mind. After a summer with her boyfriend Zeke, Heather is ready for a senior year like no other.
But when a senior prank goes horribly wrong Heather's punishment is worse than she ever could have imagined, when the drama teacher, Miss Young, forces her to join the school's production of Grease.
Heather hasn't been in the spotlight since middle school, preferring to keep her talent to herself. Tempers only flare when her old friend Josh is cast as the male lead.
Can Heather and Josh work together to find common ground? Will Heather's new cool reputation survive the humiliation of the musical? Will the two find their old friendship sparks like new? Or will the two of them make a new bond under the stage lights.

Evie was the wild child of the bunch. She was always everywhere and doing everything, all so she could pour it into her writing. Being a writer was the dream she held since she was a child, but to be the best, she needed to make a name for herself. However the local scholarships were not enough to cover the costs of attending her dream school. Evie was determined to find a way to pay for her education, but she was running out of options. That was, until West came back. West was a childhood friend, her family friend's son. They used to play together when they were kids, but as they grew older, they drifted apart and lost touch. It's been a couple of years since they had last seen each other, and when West randomly needed to stay at Evie's house for a few weeks, she wasn't sure what to expect. They each needed a plan to get what they wanted, and they each had what the other needed. It seemed like a win-win situation for both of them. Or so they thought that is until a an old fling reappears that could jeopardizes their deal. Will they be able to keep love out of this story?
