- I don't dance when I'm being told what to do. Dancing is an art. You don't tell an artist what to paint, and you don't tell a dancer what to dance. It's independent -
Rebecca is a relatively normal teenage girl apart from the fact that both of her parents are famous. Her mother, a world-famous dancer, spends every afternoon with Rebecca, dancing.
Rebecca's world comes crashing down when her mother dies in a car accident. Rebecca has always wanted to be a dancer like her mother, but now she's confused and giving up on her dreams. She has a hard time adjusting to the change. A fellow dancer turns her world around, transforming her life and her dreams.
