Two summers ago, you the reader moved to Santa Carla, a rather short lived affair. What happens when what goes bump in the night isn't so scary and when the time comes will blood be thicker than water. The night life is not so bad but when the past comes back with a glaring passion, what is to be said for love?

The emersons are in for one hell of a surprise when they come  to the small town of Santa carla. What will Michael make of his old beau living in the same little coastal town? And why does she seem just a little different than what he remembered?

This was also born out of a challenge I had for myself. writing each chapter 600 - 2500 words and a quick realness to it. So it's more of a quick style story!

Many a kind smile hides a vicious heart ~ ❞ Faint beams of cold silvery light gave birth to one of the most bizarre scenes I had ever witnessed in my life & without a doubt would ever come to witness, the blood freezing in my veins when I saw the intruder's face for what it truly was: a distorted masquerade revealing human features as well as monstrous ones alike, bleeding an expression trapped between blind amusement & rampant wrath; embedded in it a pair of orange-red eyes, glowing like dying embers in the pool of darkness, & where once a careless smile had graced his young face I could now see two large fangs instead of regular human teeth, ready to grab & tear flesh from bone. It was in that moment that I snapped out of my trance-like state & managed to force myself out of the paralysis that had grabbed hold of my body; my survival instinct took over at last & I jumped up in my bed to back away from the man who turned out to be exactly what I thought he was: A vampire.
