Shock splintered across his face, cutting through him like shards of glass, his eyes widened, his lips just slightly ajar. His cold façade dropped, along with his arms as they fell to his sides,"You think I would abandon you?"

My own façade threatened to fail me, cracking along the edges as his shaky words entered my eardrums,"Freddie, you already have."

Draco stared at me with so much contempt I thought he may actually hurt me, his lip curled in distain,"You are nothing. You mean nothing. Your name describes you well, Glass, one tap and you will shatter just like the rest of us, only you will not be able to pick yourself up again because you are weak. We are nothing but pawns in a war we have no control over, and you have been a fool to believe otherwise."

My chest burned with so much hatred as I stared into his swirling grey eyes that I felt as if my chest might explode. I stepped closer to him, shoving him so suddenly and aggressively that he stumbled backwards and landed on the sofa, becoming just a few inches shorter than me,"You may be nothing Malfoy, but I am not. Next time you decide to have a pity party don't invite me, and most definitely don't attempt to make me feel the hatred for myself that you feel for yourself. At least I have the decency to hate myself for the world to see, you mask your own self-hatred by destroying others."
