Five years has passed and Katherine Lane-Kent still hasn't wrapped her head around the idea of being a hero. Of being Supergirl. 

With all eyes on her as the daughter of Superman, Katherine has came to see the harsh reality of being such a popular hero in a world that desperately needed hope. But was that truly what she wanted? Her insecurities and uncertainty are however unfortunately brushed to the side as Superman and the Justice League are called to a distant planet called Rimbor where they are put on trial for the actions Vandal Savage caused them to commit five years ago. This leaves Katherine as the sole protector of Metropolis whilst she struggles to juggle having a social life with debilitating anxiety, everlasting feelings for her closest friend that never seem to go away, a literal alien invasion, and a pregnant mother with raging hormones.

Perhaps being a hero isn't as good as it seems. . .

After Kara heard a few heart felt words from Clark Kent/Kal-El aka Superman, she travels years into the future with her cousin to meet new faces and an ascendant of Brainiac who are enrolled in an Academy of a heroic team called the Legion of Super-Heroes who are the "future's Justice League" according to Superman. He took her here to train at the Legion Academy since her cousin thought it'd be a good idea if she wanted it. But the Legion of Super-Heroes has issues of their own, a group called the Dark Circle are looking for a weapon and it's locked inside the Legion Academy Vault, the three Legionnaires in charge - Timber-Wolf, Chemical King and Shadow-Lass, didn't need a "Brainiac and Supergirl rivalry" problem in the mix. Supergirl insists on helping them fight the Dark Circle and find out what is really going on but not only does she have the Legion's and the Academy Trainee's help , she also had the help of a stranger who came from a different universe who in fact is a part timer member of the Legion, an ally if they ever needed him, and she started to grow a bond with him who had problems of his own, especially after losing his powers in his universe His name is Y/N L/N, formally a Hero named Psychis, the Weavebender/Electrobender.

She must find the culprit to even formulate a plan on how to get back to her universe. Luckily for her, the Friendly Neighborhood Spider Man is always up for helping anyone in need. So, this idea has been spewing in my brain for some time now. For it to be appropriate for the romance that may unfold, Supergirl is going to be seventeen and Spider Man is going to be sixteen. Essentially, the bad guy's portal has sent Supergirl into the Marvel Universe.
