The Resortment Trials are held annually in Hosminte, where the students of Hogwarts are put through dangerous but exciting tests which determine their houses at the beginning of each new academic year.
Follow Saphira Fay Linn and her friends as they navigate their final year of high school-- which also happens to be the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In their small town of Hosminte, social class is decided by the house one is sorted in, but Saphira is determined to overcome this system.
Being re-sorted into a different house during the ceremony is a rare affair. But in her final year at Hogwarts, Saphira Fay Linn finds herself unveiling dark secrets which completely change her world.

"What do I not understand?" I ask softly.
"I...I can't..." He stutters, shaking his head.
I grab his arm, pulling him to face me. "Draco. Tell me." My voice was level, but my heart was palpitating wildly. I just had to know.
He continued to shake his head, as his eyes welled with tears again.
Those tears threw me off the edge. My heart ached-- I wanted him to stop, but yet I felt so infuriated. Just why on earth was he crying?!
"Just tell me!" I yell, "I'm sick of always having to inch around you, scared to do anything, scared to--"
"Because..." Draco cuts me off mid-sentence.
He stares at me, face trembling.
"Because you said you were in love with me."
