There are many tales of King Arthur.
They are each different to the last.
In some, Arthur is a young peasant boy who pulls a sword out of solid stone.
In others he is son of a king, who is gifted the sword, Excalibur, from the lady of the lake.
In all versions, he is said to have an elderly tutor called Merlin, a round table, and an enchanted sword. There are many tales, but no one can prove that King Arthur Pendragon really lived. No one will ever know the real tale of Arthur.
Of Merlin.
Of Camelot.
Because the real story, has nothing to do with an elderly tutor; nor an enchanted sword. Although, there were many round tables at that time, so maybe he did sit at a one at some point. The point is that the real tale is not some child’s bedtime story. It is a story of death, and lies, and bravery beyond any mortal understanding. The truth was twisted and mutated over time, like a child’s game of whispers, to make the tales that you hear today. Yet what is contained within these pages shall be the complete truth.
