The thing about not fitting in with other teenagers is that it means you're normal. But what about not fitting in with other humans in general? 
Lana is one of those people; someone who is more out of the ordinary than she ever thought she could be. 
And it is only after she runs into a strange boy who just won't seem to stop showing up, that she finds out.
