Basic summary: Harry is abused at the Dursleys, and Severus (not Hagrid like in canon) picks him up, expecting a copy of James Potter. He's forced to change his opinion. Potentially not suitable for below 10 for slight mentions of child abuse and also because I'm paranoid.

Series summary: Hello everyone, I'm back with another Slytherin! Harry story, only this one is different! This is my own take on Severitus, but with Severus as Harry's adoptive father and not his biological father. Since this book starts in first year and will be the first of the rewrite series (Her Emerald Eyes), Draco and Harry are too young and therefore the Drarry slow burn will commence only at the end of year 3 (mild attraction) and being the two idiots they are they probably won't start dating until 5th year end (yes they will dance around each other for 2 frickin years.)

Basically a snarry because i read all of them. I would summarise the story but i don't want to expose the plot. Some suicidal thoughts. If you do not like it, you're welcome to leave. I should really add a description 🤡 Instead of skipping their 7th year to hunt for horcruxes, Harry remains in Hogwarts to complete his education. However, the dark lord is not his only problem as he enters the new year. Complications follow, and Harry finds himself nesting with the snakes. In order to prepare him for the inevitable, double agent Severus Snape, is forced to spend more time than necessary with the boy he loathes. As the two spend more time around each other, a different type of passion blooms-sparking new threats to endanger their already fragile relationship. With the looming cloud of Voldermort's existence hanging over their heads, will they manage to pursue this newfound passion between them?
