Melody Laurence's favorite thing in the entire world was laying down in the field, a 5 minute walk through the woods behind her old house house in Coker, Alabama at night and looking at the stars. Melody loved the night sky so much she hoped to pursue a career in astronomy. Melody's best friend and next door neighbor her entire life, Justin would do anything humanly possible to make her smile. One day Melody's parents dropped the news on her that her dads job was transferring him and they are moving to Los Angeles a whopping 2000 miles from her hometown and best friend. Justin swears that he'll come rescue her one day. Having no way to contact each other anymore they eventually lose touch.

10 years later on Melody's 21st birthday she gets a blast from the past and may end up falling head over heals for the man who'd give her the stars.
