It's been 8 months since a majority of the human race dropped dead. No warnings, no explanations, no mercy. Consequently, the remnants of the world today runs rampant with no order.

For reasons unknown, Evelyn was one of the "lucky" survivors of the mass death along with her new friend, Harry. They've managed to survive almost a year on their own, finding shelter, gathering food, collecting whatever brings them joy, and most importantly avoiding outsiders. Ultimately though, Evelyn and Harry are desperate to travel back home to their families from their college and see if there's anyone left for them.

But when the unexpected happens and Evelyn is taken is there any hope left? Or will she be trapped until death in the deadly community of Wilder?
