technological advancements were made by the time yamaguchi tadashi had been born. scientists had come up with the concept of 'androids' or robots who looked and acted human. when yamaguchi joins an agency dedicated to collecting these robots once their code expires, he finds out that they use androids to collect other androids. he gets paired up with tsukishima kei, an android, and although they had a rough start, as soon as they begin to get along, things slowly start falling apart.
