"she hates quidditch. are you mentally okay in the head, oliver?! she. hates. QUIDDITCH." "oi i heard you the first time alright..." -- there wasn't much that could pull on oliver wood's heartstrings. there was quidditch. puddlemere united. quidditch again... and perhaps one could say a certain hufflepuff named delanie jones is on that list. now, delanie has been second-best her entire life. second-best child. second-best girl. and second-best to a goddamn sport. when your father is one of the greatest chasers in the world and a legend to hogwarts quidditch, you tend to have your life revolve around the entire thing. from him missing her seventh birthday to him getting mad when shes sitting, severely concussed, in a hospital wing after taking a bludger to the head. words couldn't fathom how much delanie grew to hate the sport through the years. her hatred seemed to grow by the day where the mere smell of broomsticks made her grimace. she hated the sport. quidditch games. quidditch gear. and quidditch players. so too bad she was the one thing that could make oliver wood's heart go pitter patter... aside from quidditch, of course.
