Near death, but fighting to stay alive, she is sent to recover at a calm farm. Once she can walk, however, she has other plans. She makes a mess of the family's dog and they throw her out. Now wandering the streets unable to contain her nature, Pumpkin is chased by the law for being a "threat to society".
