[COMPLETED] Indigo always had problems, but when her father committed murder-suicide against her mother, she had trouble keeping those problems under control. She had a fear of the world. Everyday actions were feats for her; going to high school, socializing, even falling asleep at night. Of course, her greedy aunt was no help. She felt hopeless. Until she met Nate. Nate had problems of his own. All his life he's had trouble staying focused. He wanted to believe he was normal, but it's hard to think that when you're brilliant in class and... not so brilliant on paper. He didn't want to have A.D.H.D. He tried to pretend he didn't, but there was something rooted deep inside him, telling him he wasn't good enough. He felt useless. Until he met Indigo. When Nate met Indigo, all he wanted to do was help, but could she reveal her secrets to him? Could two wrongs make a right? Quickly, Indigo and Nate developed a relationship that neither thought was possible for themselves to have. Could Nate help Indigo move on from her past and defeat her demons? Could Indigo help Nate accept himself for who he was and hopefully help him pass English? At twenty-one, Ashlyn "Ash" Carter's life feels like a story she never wanted to write. Each chapter has been scarred by betrayal, heartbreak, and the weight of unhealed trauma: the friend who abandoned her, the assault that shattered her trust, and the courtroom battle that left her voiceless. Her brother-the one person who believed in her strength-is gone, and with him, the confidence that justice or healing was even possible. Now, standing on the threshold of her first apartment, Ash clings to the hope of a fresh start. She dreams of becoming a cosmetic nurse, of creating beauty not just in others but in herself-a beauty she's struggled to see for years. Someday, she even hopes to pioneer a safer alternative to fillers, leaving her mark on the cosmetic world. But between revoked financial aid, the wreckage of a failed relationship, and the ghost of her darkest nights, Ash isn't sure she has the strength to move forward. Her story feels unwritten-an empty page full of missed opportunities, broken trust, and a haunting sense of loneliness. With her boy best friend Syncere at her side, Ash begins to unravel the threads of her past and confront the wounds she's buried for years. But starting over is never easy, and healing doesn't happen overnight. As Ash tries to balance her ambition, her pain, and her determination to survive, she must learn that every blank page is an opportunity to rewrite the narrative. "Unwritten" is a raw, heart-wrenching, and hopeful journey about reclaiming power, rebuilding trust, and learning to love oneself. It's about rewriting the stories we've been told about who we are-and daring to create something entirely new.

"But just look at the world around you, Love. There's messes everywhere with unclear answers. Don't give up yet." She told me gently. "I know, but I just wish that this was less confusing." "Well, things are gonna get confusing after a while, but you can't just stop trying. You've got to search harder for the answer; maybe it's somewhere you haven't looked yet. Someday you'll trip over a rock that's harder than this, and bandaids won't just stare you in the face. You won't know what to do. So prepare yourself for that day, baby." "I'm gonna trip over a rock?" I asked, eyes widening with worry. She shook her head, the bubbly symphony of her laughs echoing in the room. "No. I mean you're going to be in trouble one day and you won't know how to get out of it. Like this, but tougher." "You mean I'll have to go through this again? But even harder? Ugh, I won't make it." I sighed heavily. "No. I know you will. It just won't be so black and white. It'll be....in between the two." "So it'll be just grey?" She revealed her big, beautiful smile to me as if I had understood all that is right and wrong in the world. Kissing the top of my head, she whispered, "Exactly." {full synopsis inside} Rankings- #16 in juveniles #94 in newkid #241 in multimedia FULLY EDITED VERSION NOW AVAILABLE ON AMAZON KINDLE!!
