Blurred [F. Weasley]

"You know, recently I've been fighting this urge for violence. Whether this translates to homicide or not depends entirely on these two idiots in front of me."

As the words left her mouth, a distant explosion echoed through the halls of Hogwarts and a deathly silence fell over the group. Kat blinked, before narrowing her eyes at the red head closest to her, her now orange tinted eyes sparkling dangerously as she took in his shifting form. Fred shared a look with his brother, both of them smartly taking a step away from the short Ravenclaw and putting Nova between them.

"Look Kat-"started George nervously. "It wasn't technically us who did this-"

"if you should be angry at anyone, love," Fred supplied, "it should be Filch, he was the one to set off our masterpiece."

Smirking slightly, Kat turned to Nova and placed her potion's textbook into her friends waiting arms. "I guess there is going to be a new serial killer at Hogwarts; Sirius Black who?" The twins glanced at her nervously before bolting in two separate directions, their tufts of ginger hair glaringly obvious in the crowd. "Just wait until I get my hands on you two!" Kat yelled, before taking off after them.

Ever since she was small, Katherine Etienne Rosewood was never classed as "normal". She had always expressed herself in vivid colour, splashes here and swathes there, her magic jumping at her fingers.

Then again, being a metamorphmagus put a very large, very colourful target on her back.

After the death of her father Kat withdrew, subduing her Metamorphagus abilities to the point she abhorred colours. But sometimes, avoidance is easier said than done, especially when she joins Hogwarts in her fourth year and is immediately befriended by two twin splashes of red.

And being friends with the Weasley Twins doesn't exactly make you inconspicuous, especially when one of them seems intent on being more.

These next few years are going to be a piece of cake.
