This story is written from two separate perspectives, that of a young teenager, and that of an adult, changes will be shown by a few dashes before a new paragraph is started. This story will be centering around the subject of child abuse.
***If any of you have or are currently experiencing child abuse, please talk to a trusted adult, don't go to your friends about these issues as they probably won't know how to handle this information. Child abuse is one of the most evil things a parent can do to their child, and I encourage you to seek advice and solace in a trusted adult.***
The themes in this novel include child abuse, betrayal, abuse of power, displacement, vulnerability of the weak, power of corruption, loss of hope, power of silence, desire to escape, coming of age, and facing reality.
Your main characters are an adult female named Saden Monroe, and a young teenage boy named Archer Carlisle.
I will be posting this story in multiple different languages.
17 year old Aurora "Rory" Mansten and 18 year old Roxanne "Roxy" Farings meet at Turner's Camp For Troubled Teens and immediately hit it off, bonding over cigarettes and their unwillingness to fit in with the rest of the teenagers. Their friendship quickly evolves into something more than that, something Roxanne and Aurora will hide at all costs.
But it's not the only thing they're hiding.
Everybody has skeletons in the closet -- especially troubled teens -- but some... Some people's skeletons are more realistic than others.
